Penyanyi Adam Lambert mengejutkan lewat aksinya di panggung American Music Award (AMA) di Los Angeles, California, Amerika Serikat, Minggu (22/11/2009) malam waktu setempat. Runner up American Idol 2009 itu mencium penuh gairah seorang pemain keyboard yang mengiringinya. Komentar pro kontra pun mencuat.

Berdasarkan poll yang dilakukan MTV, 78 persen penggemar Lambert mengaku tidak menyukai aksi heboh idola mereka itu. Stasiun televisi ABC juga mendapat tak kurang dari 1.500 telepon komplain dari pemirsa di AS. ABC adalah stasiun TV nasional AS yang menyiarkan secara langsung AMA 2009. Namun, berbagai respons negatif ini ditanggapi Lambert dengan santai.
