Longsor China, 20 Tewas, 72 Hilang

Tim penyelamat berupaya menggali lumpur dan reruntuhan batu untuk menyelamatkan puluhan penambang yang terperangkap dalam insiden longsor maut di barat daya China, Minggu, (7/6). Runtuhan longsor membuat sumber pertambangan bijih besi tertutup dan dua buah pintu masuk terblokir. Anjing pelacak belum menemukan tanda-tanda kehidupan di antara reruntuhan, namun pihak penyelamat yakin masih banyak yang masih hidup.

Penyelamat juga telah memasang alat peledak dan mereka berencana untuk menggali rerntuhan sedalam 130 kaki untuk memberikan suplai udara dan makanan bagi korban yang masih hidup. 20 orang dilaporkan tewas, sementara Partai Komunis melaporkan sekitar 72 orang masih belum ditemukan, termasuk penambang yang terjebak di reruntuhan.
